How it works

Four steps, nothing hidden.

From your first visit to your first payment.

We measure

A licensed electrician reviews your service, and we place a meter on your panel for roughly 30 days to record actual usage.

We report the findings

You receive a one-page summary of the spare capacity we measured and the monthly payment it would earn. Nothing is committed at this stage.

We install

A licensed local contractor installs a self-contained unit at no cost to you. Should either party end the arrangement, we remove the equipment at our expense.

You are paid monthly

The electricity the unit consumes is reimbursed in full, with a hosting payment on top. For most buildings that is between $1,000 and $2,500 per month.

What Headroom will not do

Raise your power bill, or your peak demand charge.

Interrupt your service. If the building needs power, the unit backs off.
